Born and raised in Colorado, Whitney has proudly called Minnesota home since 2006. Her passion for advocacy and service shapes a practice built around compassion, integrity and trust.
Whitney has exclusively practiced family law since 2016, guiding clients and their families through complex financial issues, high-conflict relationships, and unique family systems. She has extensive experience handling matters involving domestic abuse and family violence. It is her drive to help families heal and thrive in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges that led to the creation of Sevilla Family Law. Whitney is a steady legal voice focused on her clients' safety, dignity, and the next chapter.
Before entering the practice of family law, Whitney clerked for the Ramsey County Attorney's Office in the criminal charging division and the Honorable Lois R. Conroy in Hennepin County criminal and juvenile courts. Her diverse experience brings a realistic yet compassionate approach to her cases. What matters most to Whitney is giving clients the tools and guidance they need to empower themselves and begin writing the next chapter of their lives on their terms, without compromising safety and stability.
Whitney earned her Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and holds a bachelor's degree in global studies from Hamline University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, as well as camping, hiking, and filling her bookshelves with LEGO masterpieces.
